Tacoma City Council to consider $158K in innovative grant program recommendations

Tacoma City Council is expected to vote Tuesday on a resolution that would direct $158,647 for neighborhood improvement projects as part of the city's annual Innovative Grant Program.

On Tuesday of this past week, the Village activated its Swiftreach Notification System (reverse “911”) via land line telephones to all residences and businesses within the Village of Garden City advising of the Nassau County Health Department’s plan to conduct aerial spraying for the West Nile Virus over Garden City on either Wednesday or Thursday evenings.
