S1C Svanda boards Honor Flight
The seventh Honor Flight took off from the Sioux Falls Airport bright and early August 20 with 110 World War II veterans on board including a local WWII veteran, Elmer Svanda of Tyndall. The veterans were honored for their courage and sacrifices of World War II with this complimentary trip to the World War II Memorial in Washington, DC.
